Our Return & Exchange Policy

1. STRICT NO EXCHANGE & NO REFUND POLICY

We do not offer exchanges, refunds, or returns unless the item carries a confirmed manufacturing defect or arrives damaged.

• Any claim for a defective, damaged, or missing item must be reported within 48 hours of delivery via email or WhatsApp.

• Claims submitted after 48 hours will not be entertained.

• Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once placed.

2. CONDITIONS FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT RETURNS

Defective product claims will not be accepted in the following circumstances:

• The defect is reported after 48 hours of delivery.

• The item has been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.

• The variation is minor and does not affect quality (e.g., slight colour difference due to screen resolution or photography lighting).

• The item is a customised or made-to-order piece (final sale).

• The item was purchased at a discounted price (sale items are final sale).

Couture de Malaika reserves the right to decline claims that do not satisfy these conditions.

3. ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation requests may be submitted within 12 hours of placing an order.

• Made-to-order and customised items cannot be cancelled under any circumstances

• Orders that have been processed, dispatched, or shipped cannot be cancelled.

To request a cancellation, please contact us via WhatsApp or email with your order number and reason for cancellation.

4. REFUND POLICY FOR CANCELLED ORDERS

• If a cancellation is approved within the 12-hour window, store credit of equivalent value will be issued.

• Store credit is valid for 30 days and may be applied to future purchases.

• No monetary refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Cancellation requests submitted after 12 hours will not be accommodated.

5. NON-CANCELLABLE ITEMS

• Made-to-order or customised pieces

• Sale or discounted items

• Orders that have already been processed, dispatched, or shipped

6. DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE POLICY

• Size exchanges are accepted within 48 hours of delivery for domestic orders only.

• Customers bear all shipping costs for exchanges unless the error originates from our end.

• No exchanges or returns are permitted on international orders (USA, UK, UAE) unless the fault is ours.

• Once an international order is placed, it cannot be cancelled or modified for any reason.

• Customers who repeatedly cancel without valid reason may be restricted from future purchases.

• Any disputed chargebacks without legitimate grounds may result in legal action and a permanent block on future orders.

7. COLOUR & DESIGN VARIATIONS

Due to photography, lighting conditions, and individual screen settings, there may be slight differences in colour or texture between the product image and the physical item. Such variations are not considered defects and are not grounds for exchange or refund.

8. CHARGEBACK & DISPUTE POLICY

• Unauthorised chargebacks or disputes raised without valid cause will result in the permanent blocking of the customer from future purchases.

• Couture de Malaika reserves the right to pursue legal action in the event of a fraudulent claim.

• No claims will be accepted after 48 hours of delivery.

9. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Couture de Malaika holds full discretion over the approval or rejection of returns, exchanges, and cancellations.

• Return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties are the customer's responsibility.

• We are not liable for lost, misplaced, or delayed shipments caused by third-party courier services.

10. POLICY UPDATES

Couture de Malaika reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time. We advise customers to review it periodically.

• Customised and made-to-order items are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

• Sale, discounted, and promotional items are final sale no exchanges or refunds.
